- Detective Hank in the week long deal! - 27 April 2020
Detective Hank is now part of Steam's week long deal. We do this to celebrate a long overdue update to v1.11 that fixes a couple of issues. Go find out who stole the Golden Sneeze from the museum of Ancient History or bring the mad lad who ate your cookie to justice in v1.10's content update, "a Prelude to Tea." The deal will be available from 4/27 to 5/4. Go get it now!

Detective Hank got an update today and it just got 10% bigger. Way back when I built Detective Hank, I made a prototype, called “A Prelude to Tea”. And with a new year come new year’s resolutions! As you might have known, we’re working on our next game, BadLands RoadTrip ( www.badlandsroadtrip.com ). The code for the Story Engine, used for Detective Hank, is also used in this new game and it has had a considerable amount of updates in the form of stability and efficiency. As such, Hank will get an update soon! Once our new game is up and the new Story Engine is tried and true, we will update Detective Hank. The moment we have more, the place you’ll first hear from it will be here! Happy lunar new year, everybody! Have fun and watch out for low-flying dragons!

Detective Hank was a lot of fun to create, but it was meant for something bigger. Today we've launched the Kickstarter for our next game: BadLands RoadTrip, a physics gun, open world, action RPG. Check the Kickstarter out here: http://kck.st/2ugDPK0 It's the same humorous writing you know from Detective Hank, but with a physics gun RPG added to it. Also, all the story elements are handled by the story engine we built for Detective Hank. BadLands RoadTrip is going to be tons of fun and their are a lot of reward tiers to choose from. You can now boast to your friends about catching any one of the suspects and completing the game, as well as finding small secrets in the story. But that’s not all! Playing Detective Hank and the Golden Sneeze will now give you trading cards! You can collect a full set to create badges and gain emoticons and backgrounds for your Steam profile page. All these are hand-crafted by the awesome studio Enalya for your enjoyment. So, what are you waiting for? Those crooks are not gonna catch themselves! Go play Detective Hank and the Goldens Sneeze for the fame and glory that is fit for the greatest detective in the world!

The new features of this update include: This game is now fully touch-screen compatible. If you want to play the game on a Windows tablet or other PC with touch screen, every button is now fully usable. We’ve added gamepad support! You can now enjoy Detective Hank from the comfort of your couch and solve the mystery on a big screen with your friends and family. The gamepad support together with Linux support makes Detective Hank and the Golden Sneeze now fully playable on Steam OS. But we are not done yet! In a couple of weeks we hope to bring you the next big update. Stay tuned!

Detective Hank and the Golden Sneeze has been updated to version 1.02! Apart from fixing a couple of glitches, we've also been listening to the feedback from the community and started implementing new features to the engine. This update includes 2 new features: You can now jump to the next choice. If you feel the need to get straight to the next choice when, for example, you want to 100% the game, you can do so in the pause menu. Select the gutton to jump to the next choice and see the whole game fly by at super speed until the next choice arrives. The mouse scroll wheel now lets you read back previous text. If you missed a part of the story by an accidental click or jumping ahead with the new jump feature, you can now read back previous text by scrolling up with your mouse wheel.
