From mourning robes to the Gate Thirty-six wraiths come at you in five kinds — the ones that swarm, the ones that cut ahead of you, the ones that throw from a distance, and the Gate that stands in the way. Every world fields a different mix, and the faces change every few minutes. Offerings and the shrine Offerings lie scattered over the ground, but picking one up is not yet worth anything. You have to carry it to a shrine off-screen and give it over before it counts, and that is what buys a Boon of your own choosing. It is the one growth that opens only by walking the ground.
