Hello all! As the title suggests, Panoptic II now has a Steam page (and a trailer, first shown at the Spring 2026 VR Games Showcase)! You probably know this, but early wishlist numbers are super important for indie games, so if you can spare the few seconds it takes to add the game to yours, please help us by doing so! In addition, over at our Patreon page, we are preparing the release of the first alpha snapshot of the game for tomorrow at the time of publication (so, Friday, March 27th, 2026 for us in Europe). It's going to be an exciting road from there to the final version of the game, one that might be long and winding, but we hope you will be coming along for the ride!Team Panoptes out, need to keep plugging at said alpha snapshot!

We have a big announcement to make... We are working on a sequel to Panoptic! And we are beyond excited to share this news with you! Hey everyone! We just released a new update, which brings a few new things while paving the way for further changes that we are excited about! While the changelog will be short and sweet, we highly encourage you to join us on Discord to discuss the new mechanic and let us know how you feel about it! Changelog: A new, holiday-themed look! Add some fun into the game by enjoying a cozier look for the Overseer, Challenger, Beings and Watchers! Everybody put on some ornaments for the winter holidays :) This is enabled by default during a limited time, but will remain available via a toggle in the main menu if you want to keep the festive season going longer or want to go back to the original look! Hello everyone! Since Panoptic was released, we have been blown away by the warm reception it got! That was great to see, thanks a lot to everyone who bought the game, left a review or even just told a friend about the game! For the time being, we have a small bugfix update for you that will adress feedback we got from players since the release. Enjoy! Panoptic 1.0.1 - Changelog Fixed the Challenger having a jittery animation while walking on stairs (that was a huge tell!). Fixed the sensitivity handling in the in-game menu and in the main menu. Your changes should now be reflected as soon as you update the slider and exit the menu. Fixed the lightprobes in the Sanctum level, where Beings had a sudden change in illumination in some spots. -Team Panoptes

- Panoptic is out now! - 8 October 2020
Today, Panoptic was released out of Early Access! This version includes months of bugfixes, balance tweaks, improvements to the look and feel of the game, and general hard work! This marks a huge step in our more-than-4 years journey, and we hope you will enjoy all we poured into this game! The game is 40% off for a week, so grab a friend (but stay safe!), and enjoy! This is not the final update for the game, we still have some plans for it, but for the time being, this is a "1.0" release we are very proud of :) Here are some of the things you can expect from the release: The Panopticon New options to customize the power of both players Improved death effect for Beings that are shot Tweaks to the NPCs distributions to improve gameplay An improved tutorial Achievements! On October 8, Panoptic will be out of Early Access! During the past few months, we have worked hard to polish the game and make it the best experience we could. To celebrate, we will be discounting the game at launch, and we also have a brand new trailer to accompany the launch! Hey everyone! Here we are with update 7, which is lighter on content, but more focused on quality of life improvements. The reason for that is we are shifting our focus to really polishing the game in preparation for the end of Early Access. While we do not have more to announce at this time, remember that the price of Panoptic will increase once the game is out of Early Access.
