Development Status – Important Note: VR: Under a Desert Sun was originally planned to be a full single-player adventure with both story-driven content and a wave shooter mode . However, development has been discontinued , and the game remains in its current form—a wave-based shooter designed to test core mechanics. Rather than keep VR: Under a Desert Sun in Early Access forever, I wanted to be transparent and officially close this chapter. I did not reach my original goal of developing a full single-player campaign alongside the wave shooter mode . However, as some players requested, I’ve kept the finished aspects of the game available for those who want to explore them. Thank you to everyone who supported this project—hopefully, we’ll see you for the next adventure! VR: Under a Desert Sun places you in the heart of a classic pulp adventure, reminiscent of the action-packed stories from old movies. Step into the role of a reluctant hero in World War II, battling against ruthless Nazi forces and an ancient magical power that has awakened from the desert sands.
