- Reinforcements Are Here! Fixes & Additions V1 - 18 June 2026
The King hasn't been too pleased with the failure to squash out this rebellion in a timely manner. Reinforcements are now arriving! Starting from today players supporting the losing faction (currently British) will contribute 3x more score to their supported nation's side, consider this a losers bonus. For the Americans the time has come to dig in and prepare for an onslaught. The British are coming.We've also gone ahead and pushed a small hotfix which should address some of the more infuriating bugs and issues players faced since the release a week ago. A full list of these changes can be seen in the full change log linked at the bottom of this post.The patch also fixes an issue where some uniforms which were intended to be unlocked through shillings were showing as part of the default selection instead. It's been a revolutionary last couple of days since the release of Holdfast: American Revolution. Players across the world and on all platforms have been battling it out in an intense tug of war for freedom and for order. So far, almost 150,000 players in total have supported a side and contributed to a nation's progress towards victory. On July 4th, the winning side will be rewarded with nation-specific themed content added to the game. The revolution has arrived! Time to hop on Holdfast and take part in the elegantly chaotic warfare of the American Revolution. It has been a week since the release of Holdfast: Age Of Sail and what a week it has been. Not only did we set a new Steam concurrent player peak record but we also smashed through the Naval concurrent players record not once but twice!Today we're dishing out a few additions and some fixes to tackle the more troublesome bugs some players have been facing on PC and Console. From bugged water causing mega Tsunami's to Sailors sliding aboard we've done our best to tackle em all.One addition worth mentioning with this fix and one that we're certain will be most welcomed is the introduction of new sustained notes for the instruments.
