• Reinforcements Are Here! Fixes & Additions V1 - 18 June 2026

  The King hasn't been too pleased with the failure to squash out this rebellion in a timely manner. Reinforcements are now arriving! Starting from today players supporting the losing faction (currently British) will contribute 3x more score to their supported nation's side, consider this a losers bonus. For the Americans the time has come to dig in and prepare for an onslaught. The British are coming.We've also gone ahead and pushed a small hotfix which should address some of the more infuriating bugs and issues players faced since the release a week ago. A full list of these changes can be seen in the full change log linked at the bottom of this post.The patch also fixes an issue where some uniforms which were intended to be unlocked through shillings were showing as part of the default selection instead. • American Revolution July 4th Roadmap - 15 June 2026

  It's been a revolutionary last couple of days since the release of Holdfast: American Revolution. Players across the world and on all platforms have been battling it out in an intense tug of war for freedom and for order. So far, almost 150,000 players in total have supported a side and contributed to a nation's progress towards victory. On July 4th, the winning side will be rewarded with nation-specific themed content added to the game. For now, here's a quick glance at what will be released to the game for the July 4th 250th anniversary celebrations.Starting from today, too, we've introduced a mix of Nations At War Army Battlefield maps into the American Revolution server rotations that will feature the American Patriots battling The British Empire.   The revolution has arrived! Time to hop on Holdfast and take part in the elegantly chaotic warfare of the American Revolution. We're also hosting a massive Shilling and player EXP boost for the next few days to celebrate the release.This update is absolutely colossal with 5 new invasion mode maps, 2 new factions, class reworks and a tea filled harbours worth of content being introduced into the game.   It has been a week since the release of Holdfast: Age Of Sail and what a week it has been. Not only did we set a new Steam concurrent player peak record but we also smashed through the Naval concurrent players record not once but twice!Today we're dishing out a few additions and some fixes to tackle the more troublesome bugs some players have been facing on PC and Console. From bugged water causing mega Tsunami's to Sailors sliding aboard we've done our best to tackle em all.One addition worth mentioning with this fix and one that we're certain will be most welcomed is the introduction of new sustained notes for the instruments. Fred and his minions begin their invasion of the Holdfast battlefields from the 28th of October until the 9th of November. 💀During this spooky period, players will be able to equip unique Fred cursed versions of heads found within the game.   After smashing through our concurrent player count record (previously 3,400) with a whopping 6,400+ players on launch day we then went on to set the ceiling even higher, breaking our record another 3 times and capping off the weekend with a 9,700+ concurrent player peak.
