• If you love No Man's Sky, this life-changing single-player space game is now cheaper than ever - 14 November 2025

  There are a few games that I wish I could play for the first time again. Kingdom Hearts 2, Subnautica, and Minecraft, to name a few, but if I had a Neuralizer from Men in Black, I'd wipe my memory of Outer Wilds . As a fan of the best space games and someone who loves a good ol' time-looping adventure, I admire the mechanical brilliance of Outer Wilds, but the narrative alone makes it a big enough reason to buy this game, and right now it's down to its cheapest price ever. • Outer Wilds Patch 16 is Now Available - 6 May 2025

  Patch 16 Changes (Steam only, other platforms coming soon): This minor patch is now out on Steam only, but will be brought to all other platforms except Nintendo Switch in late May. If you’re not on Steam, don’t worry, you’re not missing out! This is a minor patch mainly for adding a couple folks to the credits and fixing two PC-only bugs: clicking out of the game disabling certain inputs (such as the key for the ship’s lock on), which affected streamers in particular, and diagonal movement being faster than normal with mouse and keyboard. Why stagger the releases like this? It’s to increase the chance that, if any bad bugs on Steam slipped through testing, they’ll get caught and fixed before the release of the other platforms.   PATCH 14 IS NOW AVAILABLE 9/22/2023 Outer Wilds and Echoes of the Eye Patch 14 is now available! This is a small patch to address some issues on the Steam Deck, and we fixed some bugs while we were at it. It includes accessibility improvements on all platforms: a new Large UI Mode, improvements to the legibility of some button icons, and an FOV slider on consoles! Introducing: Large UI mode! We hope this mode will help folks playing on smaller screens or who just wish the text and UI was a bit bigger. By default, the game will automatically detect what size the UI should be based on your platform and display. • Outer Wilds fan makes a functional version of the alien translator - 9 May 2023

  The enigmatic system of Outer Wilds is packed with scary things you wouldn’t want running around in real life: spine-tingling cosmic anglerfish, endless time loops , and a bunch of existential dread. (Oh, wait a minute.) Although, the spacefaring adventure has at least one tool that would be handy in everyday situations: the translator. • Outer Wilds now available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S - 17 September 2022

  Annapurna Interactive and Mobius Digital have announced that Outer Wilds is now available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. On the consoles, 2019’s critically acclaimed mysterious first-person space simulator game will run in 4k at 60fps. The upgrade is a free download if you already own it on PS4 and Xbox One. Previously released on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the open-world exploration game will find you probing your surroundings, tracking down mysterious signals, deciphering ancient alien writing, and roasting marshmallows.   Annapurna Interactive announced yesterday during its games showcase upgraded versions of both Outer Wilds and What Remains of Edith Finch are coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Both games will see a 60fps upgrade on the consoles, while Edith Finch will also benefit from 4K on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
