• October Patch - Network Update - 4 October 2021

  Hello fellow Vikings, we are happy to announce that the online multiplayer issue has been fixed! You should now be able to play with your friends once more! Patch notes: * Updated the multiplayer service, fixing the "unable to connect" error * Minor tweaks to some menus That's it, nothing too flashy, but all too important. • Server Maintenance - 28 September 2021

  Hey there you Vikings and Bosses! Some of you might have noticed issues when trying to connect to a friend's game. Recently our third party multiplayer service deployed an emergency update which we need to integrate. This will take at best a few days, but it may go up to a week. During this time you might be unable to connect to online multiplayer games. This applies to Switch and PS4 versions as well. However... you can still play online using Steam Remote Play, Parsec, or a remote desktop streaming service of your choosing. We apologize for the inconvenience and promise you that we are doing are best to patch Bossgard ASAP.

  Get ready to scream “res pls”, “gg” and “gl hf” during Bossgard’s epic boss fights. Coordinate with your friends, look for players and make friends using our brand-new chat system! Chat can be accessed in the Main Menu, Lobby and during the match by pressing “Enter”. Be warned that there is an anti-spam system that will mute you for 10 seconds if you’re a bit too insistent.   Sound the alarm, a bread-shaped kaiju has been spotted on the coast of Japan! Recent reports indicate that the bread monster has appeared out of nowhere and has released a swarm of little bread people on the innocent civilians living in that area!   Ugh, summer. Vikings were not built for summer. Well... maybe Ziggy and Duke were. For the rest of them non-Jamaican, non-surfer Vikings, summer just goes against everything that is supposed to turn the inhabitants of the North in tough, gritty warmachines. Olaf of Bread is no big fan of summer either - he gets too crusty. • Patch: Fixing the Hog - 10 June 2020

  Hi there! We received reports of faulty mechanized assault pigs and we had to do something about it. Upon closer inspection it became clear that the Warhog's Ragnarok-Class Reinforced Armor came under too much pressure from sustained fire and corrosive Poison arrows. The Vikings seem to have developed a knack for landing Mighty Blows in the Warhog's armor weak points, especially where several moving parts would meet, like the joints and even the rotating autocannon. Sustained damage during the first phase of the battle comprised the deployment of the phase II combat kit. We've also noticed severe damage to the Warhog's central processing unit. Several hog-handlers, like Papi and Penk (to whom we give our thanks) have reported an inability to control the Warhog in its second stage.
