- October patch notes - 29 October 2024
Greetings snipers, Control has issued an update regarding the recent save game issues that a limited number of you reported following our September patch. At the time, we asked you to not pull the trigger and start a new game, as this could overwrite your existing progress. We’re pleased to confirm the issues identified with the save system have now been addressed in today’s patch: If you created a new save following the installation of the September patch, you will be able to continue your campaign with this new update. Similarly, any save games created before last month’s patch are also safe to continue. Unfortunately, any save games loaded during September’s patch are permanently gone due to unforeseen corruption issues. We’ve also fixed an issue with the Steam language option, so the game now boots in the chosen language. - The SGWC Team October patch notes Save system issues have b…
- Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts - September Update - 16 September 2024
Greetings Snipers, Earlier this month, we rolled out a new update to Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts that increased texture resolution, disabled network mode, and fixed issues related to audio and data loss in local saves. Regrettably, we were unable to push patch notes at the same time the update was rolled out, which resulted in some confusion regarding what it included, especially since it was a large patch. We apologised and, as soon as we were able to, shared the update details with you all. However, since the update launched, it’s come to our attention that some players are experiencing an issue whereby they can’t locate/access their previous saves. If you’re experiencing this issue, rest assured that your saved data is still intact. The problem is related to how the game is recognising your save. Please avoid starting a new game, as this could overwrite your existing progress. Sol…
