Hello all - Today I discovered the cause for a major performance issue with the Donkey Companion. Players that have the donkey follow them all of the time should notice a significant performance gain after this patch.Fixed a major performance issue with Donkey Companion movementThis performance fix offers significant gains on low-mid end CPUs while donkey is following the playerThe donkey no longer has a compass marker until performance-related issues with this can be addressed in a future updateThe donkey can still be called from anywhere, so finding it should not be a challengeThis change should have no other gameplay effects and should not incur any performance changes when the donkey is not moving. This change will be live on Beta and Main branch within a few hours.
