Thanks, that was important for me to hear. I had tried to do something "clever" by guessing if you were trying to make a delicate shot based on how fast you were aiming, so if the game thought you were crawling, it made sure you were really slow.Turns out it's one of the worst parts of the game. So I'm sealing this feature behind an opt-in checkbox while I look for a better solution to deal with those times when you're bouncing between three corners of the stage. Until then, I really appreciate everyone who took the time to try it out and let me know!
