Critical Hits Now Grant Bonus Ore Critical hits on the mine node were purely visual — they played the flash and sound but didn't actually give extra ore. Crits now deal 2x ore damage. They're also rarer now (about 1 in 40 clicks) to keep them feeling special. Critical Hit Visual Overhaul Replaced the ugly flashing square on crit hits with an expanding golden ring and spark rays. Much cleaner. (Will improve as we move forward) Ancestral Knowledge Exploit Deep Cavern events were awarding flat Ancestral Knowledge that didn't scale with prestige level, allowing players to accumulate massive AK far too quickly. AK rewards now scale like other premium rewards. Depth Cost Reduction (Trade Post) The Clockwork Guild trade upgrade that reduces depth costs wasn't resetting properly after Ascension, causing the discount to silently break. Fixed.
