v0.8.386 • Fixed bug that would prevent tour progress meter from appearing when beating a boss after loading a save game straight into the boss fight. • Fixed displayed lyrics for the boss song "Frisk Your Girlfriend". • Added the word "Demo" to the "Tour Completed" message for demo version. In other news, I've gotten back to recording soundtrack music, and I have 6 new songs all finished up, and a handful just waiting for vocals to get recorded. I'm waiting for vocals from a couple of different singers so there's more variety in the next youtube video series instead of 5 songs from a single singer. Hoping to have that out in the next week or two.

• Added progress meters toward breaking a bass string, guitar string, and drum head. Increases with each matching instrument card played. When at 100%, a technical problem card is shuffled into the player's deck. • Added Meta-Collectibles for instrument techs to reduce the frequency of a broken bass string, guitar string, and drum head. • Added "Stabilize Equipment" consumable buff to reset progress toward a broken bass string, guitar string, and drum head.

v0.8.371 - July 15, 2026 • Changed "Fire on All Cylinders" to add +2X song multiplier for the current song, instead of +1X multiplier for all Tech Support cards. • Changed meta-collectible "Music Lesson" to "Advanced Theory" and increased cost to 6. • Added meta-collectibles for each instrument to add +1 entertain points for each level unlocked. • The cost of unlocking a particular meta-collectible rises as you unlock more of that collectible.

Also includes a bug fix. • No longer allow copying "Whenever It Feels Right" and "Don't Worry, It's Coming" cards. • "Whenever It Feels Right" can no longer be found randomly, and can only be upgraded to from "Don't Worry, It's Coming". • Set a max limit of 3 for "Don't Worry, It's Coming". • Increased cost and reduced random chance of finding "Fire on All Cylinders". • Meta-collectibles are now taken into account when calculating the player band's strength rating. • Fixed bug that prevented a key narrative event from happening.

I'm happy to introduce the first iteration of "meta-collectibles", which allow you to unlock collectibles that operate at the meta-level, affecting every tour you play.Having a hard time beating a specific boss? Keep earning Mojo by beating easier bosses, then spend it to unlock meta-collectibles to give you a permanent advantage.Meta-collectibles will be continually improved and balanced throughout Early Access. I'd love to hear your ideas for some meta-collectibles.

Changed gig buffs to be inventory-based, and are acquired the same way as other collectible items. Used inventory slots must be re-filled by acquiring new consumables between gigs. Starting inventory size is 3, but can be increased with the "A Friend in Need" collectible. Added some consumable gig buffs shops to Hell, since they are no longer offered to buy during gigs. Increased chance of finding "Blister in the Sun" and "A Friend in Need" collectibles. Reduced base entertainment value of "Unexpected Climax" from 50 to 10.

Adjusted boss scoring so they are much less volatile and more consistent with their scores. Fixed minor bug in battle gigs that could cause weird UI timing when finishing your last song and the opponent still has a song to play but is already winning and wants to end the gig without playing the last song.
