Critical Hits Now Grant Bonus Ore Critical hits on the mine node were purely visual โ they played the flash and sound but didn't actually give extra ore. Crits now deal 2x ore damage. They're also rarer now (about 1 in 40 clicks) to keep them feeling special. Critical Hit Visual Overhaul Replaced the ugly flashing square on crit hits with an expanding golden ring and spark rays. Much cleaner. (Will improve as we move forward) Ancestral Knowledge Exploit Deep Cavern events were awarding flat Ancestral Knowledge that didn't scale with prestige level, allowing players to accumulate massive AK far too quickly. AK rewards now scale like other premium rewards. We've been reading your feedback and crushed a handful of bugs that were lurking in the deep. --- ๐ง Bug Fixes Depth Bonus Display The depth production bonus on the main screen now correctly reflects all your multipliers - prestige blessings, artifacts, gems, ascension perks, and achievements. Previously, only the base +10%/depth was shown. Deep Knowledge Blessing This prestige blessing was showing up in the Modifiers panel but wasn't actually boosting cave-in rewards. It now properly applies to both random and descent cave-in loot. Your investment pays off! Mining Expertise After Prestige Mining Expertise no longer vanishes from the upgrades panel after prestiging. It will correctly hide until the Surveyor's Office is rebuilt, then reappear on its own.
