We unfortunately have decided to shutdown the servers for Until None Remain VR on August 1st at 5 PM CDT. The current revenue coming in is not enough to maintain running the servers so we cannot continue to run them. We want to thank everyone that helped out with testing and played it after release.

We have an important announcement today. We have decided to reduce the normal everyday price of both the PC and VR editions of Until None remain to just $2. We are immediately launching into a 40% discount which will make each title available for just $1.20 for the next week. The Early Access period didn’t exactly go as expected. We failed to reach the player counts necessary to maximize in the fun in these games. We are going to try to remedy that now by placing Until None Remain a price point which anyone can afford. Our most recent patch mostly focuses on a handful of weapon changes, new weapons, AI tweaks, and match length adjustments. The patch introduces 3 new weapons: Laser Rifle, Pulse Pistol, and Pulse Rifle. The laser rifle is a two-handed version similar to the laser pistol that uses a continual laser to damage the target. The new pulse weapons are fast moving projectile weapons that shoot out a pulse round that can damage the target if hit directly and has a short blast radius so can be shoot near the target as well to do damage. To go along with the new weapons we introduced a handful of changes to the existing weapons. Rifles now have a sight on top, shotgun now has a laser aiming guide making it much more useful than before, quite a few of the guns received reloading sound adjustments that better match their reload times, projectile code updates under the hood to make them more accurate…

With any multiplayer game it is essential that you reach a minimal number of players as soon as quickly as possible. Having players online adds to the enjoyment of all players. If a multiplayer game fails to reach enough players to keep a steady flow of players online it can make what would otherwise be an enjoyable game much less entertaining. This is often a problem with indie games, and in the narrower base of virtual reality indie games this problem has damaged the potential of many titles. We have recently run into this problem in our VR multiplayer shooter: Until None Remain, and to a lesser extent in our RPG title: Prevent the Fall. In both cases the lack of players has damaged the online segment of the game. As a result we have been looking into ways to boost player counts as quickly as possible. To that end, we will be running a special discount on both titles for this weekend…
